The “Support Local Businesses” action is part of a suite of “Local Economies” actions in Sustainable Jersey.  This action identifies opportunities for the municipal government to strengthen and promote local businesses and to expand the amount of goods and services purchased from locally owned businesses.

Hear about the Support Local Businesses action in Sustainable Jersey and learn more about the Tax Reward Program which is being implemented by Marlboro as well as other Sustainable Jersey towns. Also learn about Princeton’s new debit card program (One Princeton) which enables users to designate a percentage of the monies spent to non-profits, as well as other municipal efforts to promote buying local.
