RE:                 PSEG NUCLEAR POWER PLANT TOUR

DATE:           APRIL 10, 2014

******************************************************************************

League Past President, Art Ondish, Mayor Mount Arlington and an employee of PSEG has asked me to survey the Membership to see if there is interest in arranging an on-site briefing and tour of PSEG’s Nuclear Power Plant in Salem, New Jersey which is the second largest nuclear power complex in the United States.

The visit will include a presentation by Bill Levis, PSEG’s President and COO; tour of PSEG’s Control Operator Training Simulator; tour of PSEG’s Nuclear Firing Range and weapon demonstration; and a visit to PSEG’s Energy and Environmental Resource Center to explore all forms of energy.

The event is planned for Thursday, May 29, 2014.  A charter bus will leave the Trenton area about 9:00 a.m. and return to Trenton about 5:00 p.m. (Exact details will be confirmed later).  If you would like to drive directly to the Energy and Environmental Resource Center, please let us know so we can make appropriate accommodations.  Lunch and a snack will be provided.  Dress is business casual and slacks are preferred for women.  Also, no open toe shoes are permitted.

There is limited capacity, so this will be a first come, first serve basis.

Attached is a link http://www.njslom.org/events/PSEG-EERC-TOUR.pdf for a flyer on the Energy and Environmental Resource center.

If you are interested in this, please RSVP to Becky Wright by April 18, 2014 at bwright@njslom.com
