Sustainable Jersey Small Grant Program & Twitter Contest
Don't miss the last opportunity to submit a grant proposal for the first round of our Sustainable Jersey Small Grants Program!
Applications are due to Sustainable Jersey August 4, 2013 at midnight!
We are pleased to announce that $380,000 in new grant money is now available to New Jersey municipalities. Funded by Walmart, this cycle of the Sustainable Jersey Small Grants Program will support seventy local projects that leverage resources to make communities more livable, environmentally friendly, and prosperous.
The first cycle of 2013 Sustainable Jersey Small Grants program will award local governments:
- One $50,000 grant
- Four $20,000 grants
- Fifteen $10,000 grants
- Fifty $2,000 capacity building grants
We anticipate a second cycle of the Small Grants Program in late September 2013.

You could win a $1,000 first-prize or $500 for a second-prize. Winner to designate the Sustainable Jersey certified or registered town that will receive the grant money.
