Re: Policy Paper Series: Lessons Learned from Superstorm Sandy
The League is pleased to announce the publication of the Friends of Local Government’s newest policy paper, “Municipal Lesson Learned from Superstorm Sandy in New Jersey.” This paper, written by Professor Stephanie Hoopes Halpin, is an excellent overview of the lessons learned from Superstorm Sandy. The paper discusses the need for improvements to infrastructure, disaster funding and even health and safety issues. Professor Hoopes Halpin is an assistant professor of public affairs and administration and Director of New Jersey DataBank at the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers-Newark.
