RE: Mayor Mironov Testifies on Proposed State Budget

Today in Trenton, League President, Mayor Janice S. Mironov of East Windsor Township, appeared before the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee to discuss the municipal perspective on the Governor’s budget proposal.

Mayor Mironov has called on the Legislature to end the diversion of Energy Tax and CMPTRA dollars to plug gaps in the State’s budget. Please contact your State Legislators and urge them to support initiatives that would begin to return this vital property tax relief funding to municipalities.
