RE: NJEIT Survey Seeks to Identify Cost of Sandy Destruction
On Friday, January 18, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust (NJEIT) sent notice to all Municipal Clerks, regarding a survey posted on its website at www.njeit.org/sandy.
The survey, which NJEIT has prepared in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), seeks to identify environmental infrastructure projects (drinking water, wastewater, storm water, landfill run-off) that have been necessitated or accelerated by Sandy. The survey also asks for an estimate of the costs. This information will be used to determine need and to evaluate project funding alternatives.
Please check with your Municipal Clerk to see if your municipality has responded to the survey. If you have any questions regarding the survey please contact NJEIT at 609-219-8600.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
