These forums were organized to respond to Access to Capital needs, which we collectively realize is a common and expansive economic impact issue following Hurricane Sandy in many hard hit areas of New Jersey. The goal of the events is to aggregate multiple funding opportunities for businesses and inform the Economic Development leaders of the community on these sources, so that you may have a more comprehensive network and list of offerings to bring to back to your local businesses and constituents.
The first portion of the event will include pitches from Federal agencies, local banks, and other entities that offer funding for post-Sandy recovery. The second half of the event will allow attendees to visit with a wider variety of lenders, funders, and agencies to ask specific questions on their programming. Follow-up to the event will include a comprehensive handout of the programs represented and a one-stop website hosted on the New Jersey Business Action Center’s Business Portal.
