RE: Housing and Urban Development Listening Sessions
The HUD Newark Office will be hosting two Listening Sessions. These sessions will be an opportunity to provide input to HUD on the rehabilitation of housing units damaged by the storm, and the rebuilding of neighborhoods that have suffered major destruction. The information gained at the Listening Sessions will help us fulfill HUD’s Mission Assignment with FEMA for long-term recovery in New Jersey, and develop our plan for rebuilding.
- The first session will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28th in the 1st Floor Press Room, Hudson County Plaza, 257 Cornelison Ave., Jersey City, NJ (limited parking will be available in the rear of the building, with the entrance at the corner of Mill and Academy Streets; additional parking is available in the gravel visitors lot located off Cornelison Ave. For directions to Hudson County Plaza, go to http://www.hudsoncountyclerk.org/contact.htm ).
- The second session will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 29th at the Bishop Building of the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St., Toms River, NJ (a free parking garage is at 129 Hooper Avenue at Madison Avenue---for directions, go to http://theoceancountylibrary.org/Branches/TR/tr.htm ).
Please RSVP by COB Monday, November 26th to Alan Gelfand at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (973) 776-7205. Please note which session you will be attending.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
