Re: APPROACHING MAJOR STORM
The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management is warning of an impending storm coming early next week.
It is labeled Hurricane Sandy and may make landfall with heavy rain and wind. You may want to encourage your citizens to check all pumps, chain saws, generators, and other emergency equipment.
You should also work closely with your local and statewide Offices of Emergency Management. We will continue to monitor the situation and advise you of further developments.
If you or your citizens need more information on this or other hurricane events, please go to:
Very truly yours,

Mayor, Mount Arlington
Hon. Timothy McDonough
Chairman, League Emergency
