RE: MAYORS HURRICANE SANDY SURVEY (REMINDER)
Dear Municipal Clerk:
Please direct this correspondence to your Mayor.
As indicated in our November 20 letter, the League wants to help your municipality recover from Hurricane Sandy as quickly as possible. We also hope to learn whatever lessons we can from this experience, to be better prepared for the next.
We’ve prepared an online survey to try to assess local needs, to see where legislative or regulatory relief is indicated. We also want to have a better idea of what went right and what went wrong in your emergency management planning, in preparation for the storm, in the days immediately after the storm and what you see as your needs going forward.
It should take about 10 MINUTES to complete the survey, which can benefit all New Jersey municipalities, going forward.
THIS SURVEY IS INTEDED FOR THE USE OF YOUR MAYOR OR, AT THE MAYOR’S DISCRETION, YOUR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR.
To access this survey, please go to http://NJLM-Sandy-Survey.questionpro.com
In the meantime, as always, please contact Jon Moran at 609-695-3481, ext. 121 or jmoran@njslom.com on any problems and concerns that can be best met through collective municipal action.
Thanks for taking the time for this.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
Executive Director
