Re:    New Rates for State Health Benefits Plan

Dear Mayor:

Yesterday the State Division of Pensions and Health Benefits sent to your Certifying Officer an announcement on open enrollment for local government employees and the new rates for the New Jersey State Health Benefits Plan.

Since you will have to adjust the amount that is held from employees we wanted to make sure that you got this information.

The dates for the SHBP Open Enrollment are October 1 to November 9, 2012, with plan benefits and rates changes effective January 1, 2013.
