We would like to call your attention to the upcoming Sustainable Jersey webinar on
January 24, 2012.
- Dr. Edward Mahaney, Mayor, Cape May City (Silver Certified Community)
- Beth Kinney, Director of Community Services or Jin Blades, Manager, Department of Community Services, City of Summit (Silver Certified Community)
- Medea Villere, Project Coordinator, Sustainable Jersey
Part 2 of this webinar series will help your Green Team understand how to mobilize for certification or re-certification. Hear from speakers whose towns have reached the silver level to learn about the process that they used.
This webinar will focus on helping towns get ready for re-certification, especially at the silver level. One of the big goals of this webinar is to give you the opportunity to learn from the experts and get your questions answered by those who have already achieved silver status.
Mayor Edward Mahaney will kick off the webinar with a short overview of the process that Cape May City utilized in organizing its successful (first time) application for silver certification.
Representatives from Summit will talk about their process for getting re-certified at the silver level. They will be sure to let you know about their town’s exciting initiatives in becoming environmentally friendly, as well as detail their successes with the Sustainable Jersey program.
Medea Villere, from the Sustainable Jersey program will be on hand to answer your questions about anything from uploading documents to what happens if you hit “submit” before you’re ready!
This webinar is designed to allow participants to get answers to their questions. So we’re leaving plenty of time for YOUR questions. If you’d like to submit questions in advance, please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be sure to cover them during the webinar.
We hope to see you there!!
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
