Re: Time is running out to preregister for the 2011 League Conference!
Preregistration for the 2011 League of Municipalities Conference, November 15, 16, 17 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, ends on October 1! This is your last opportunity to preregister for the largest municipal conference in the country. In recent years, attendance has averaged 18,000 individuals from all across the state. After the preregistration period ends, you may only register on site during the Conference, and the price increases to $60 for municipal officials.
Registration fees are the lowest for any municipal conference in the country-$50 for municipal government officials who preregister. This fee gives a municipal official access to three days of seminars, networking, and vendor exhibits.
This year we offer over 80 educational sessions, covering topics such as ethics, municipal budgeting, the recent pension and health benefit reforms, technology, grant funding, shared services, women in government, and environmental policies, among many others. You can find a full list of sessions here.
This year, over half our educational sessions offer Continuing Education Credits, which many municipal officials need to maintain their certifications. This includes continuing Legal Education credits. Many municipal officials are able to satisfy much of their required education credits over the three-day conference.
We also expect between 650-700 exhibitors this year, ranging from state agencies to suppliers of playground equipment. You can browse the different options available for your municipal needs in one place.
We also offer a Consultation Period on Tuesday, November 15 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Here, you can meet with experts from over 100 topic areas, including environmental regulation, affordable housing, local government services, and public contracting. Our consultants help you obtain advice and up to date information more efficiently and effectively than being in your office making dozens of phone calls. It puts you face-to-face with hundreds of experts, state officials, and colleagues who can answer your questions and offer the benefit of best practice advice.
Keep in mind, preregistration gives you access to all these benefits for one low price: $50.00. But only until October 1! See our registration information page for information on how to register. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact Gayle Krygier at 609-695-3481 ext. 119.
Very truly yours,
