Re: NJSDC offering free 2010 Census/American Factfinder Hands-on Computer Workshops
The New Jersey State Data Center working in cooperation with the Regional Offices of the US Census Bureau and Atlantic, Cumberland and Ocean County planning boards is offering its first round of free half day (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours) training sessions on the 2010 Census and the New American FactFinder for county and municipal government staff who are Census data users. A registration form with date, time and locations for the training and additional details about the facilities, directions, maps, etc. can be found at:
Registrations will be handled on a first come first served basis. Seating is limited at both the Atlantic County and Ocean County events. The Cumberland County event has ample seating but you must bring your own Wi-Fi enabled laptop to this session as there are no computer workstations.
Please complete the registration form and fax back to Deborah Giles of the NJ State Data Center staff or e-mail to NJSDC@dol.state.nj.us
Training sessions are currently being planned for locations in Northern New Jersey and will be announced at a future date. If you have questions regarding the training sessions, call the New Jersey State Data Center at 609-984-2595 or e-mail at NJSDC@dol.state.nj.us
Very truly yours
