RE: Certification of “State Aid” Link Correction

Dear Mayor:

In yesterday’s letter on the Certifications of “State Aid” (http://www.njslom.org/letters/2011-0721-state-aid.html), we included an incorrect link for your latest certifications. The link we included would have taken you to last year’s numbers. The correct link for CY 2011/SFY 2012 property tax relief funding is:
http://www.state.nj.us/dca/lgs/muniaid/11_aid/11sosa/menu_ssa_2011.shtml. The electronic version of our letter has been updated on our website. It now includes the correct link.

We apologize for any confusion caused by this mistake.

The other links provided in yesterday’s letter were correct.

And the Excel spreadsheet, which can be used to calculate the reverse State Aid that results from State diversion of Energy Tax and CMPTRA funding can be accessed at http://www.njslom.org/documents/ETR-Impact-Calculation.xls.
