Dear Mayor:
Re: 100 Years of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Celebrating the Past and Setting the Course for the Future of Regulation, Innovation, Development and Technology in New Jersey
The 100th Year of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (Board) marks an important milestone in the Board’s commitment to ensuring that safe and reliable utility service is available to all New Jersey residents. Under the Christie Administration, the Revisited Energy Master Plan (EMP) directs the Board to manage energy with an eye towards economic development and preservation of our environment. The foundation of economic development, a safe environment and technological innovation set forth in the new EMP, together with several other new initiatives and policies will allow the utility industry to develop and thrive as we head into the next millennium.
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities is co-sponsoring the 100th Anniversary Conference with Choose NJ, a non-profit corporation designed to market, promote and facilitate business attraction, expansion and retention in the State. The combined efforts of the Board and Choose NJ will broaden and encourage awareness, business development and the expansion of energy and utility innovation in New Jersey. We invite you to join us for this exciting conference on April 21, 2011 at the War Memorial in Trenton. Registration fee is $95.00.
