Re:    Committee Hearing on December Snow Removal and Public Safety

Dear Mayor:

Yesterday, the Assembly Transportation Committee heard testimony from DOT Commissioner Simpson and invited guests concerning the December snow removal and public safety.   Hopewell Borough Mayor Paul Anzano, Brick Administrator Scott Pezarras and William Kerick, Vice President of the Public Works Association and Randolph Township Public Works Director testified on behalf of the League.

We thank Assemblyman Wisniewski for inviting us to appear before the committee.  The League will continue to monitor the FEMA application, budgetary issues and Office of Emergency Management developments as a result of this hearing.  We will continue to keep you informed on these matters.
