RE: WEB-BASED TOOL FOR HURRICANE SANDY FEMA GRANTS
The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM) is pleased to announce the release of a new web-based tool for FEMA grant funding related to Hurricane Sandy. _NJEMGRANTS.ORG_ will be your one stop shop for all information for Hurricane Sandy (DR 4086) related FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and Hazard Mitigation (HM) Grant Programs. Ultimately, this disaster management tool will be used to support open disasters, as well as future declarations.
In order to gain access to this tool, all PA and HMGP applicants are required to complete and return the attached "NJEMGrants" Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). To facilitate this process and expedite the reimbursement of recovery dollars to eligible applicants, please disseminate the attached MOU and the attached announcement to your respective applicants, at either the county or municipal level.
Should you have any questions, please contact the Recovery Bureau at
(609) 882-2000 extension 2948 or e-mail NJEMGRANTSHELP@GW.NJSP.ORG.
The NJOEM will be holding an overview of this disaster management tool this coming WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12TH AT 1:00 PM at the ROIC.
