League Management Reforms and the City of Orange attract National Coverage

Research by the League of Municipalities and participating mayors have helped formulate strategies and resources for New Jersey municipalities to meet their budget challenges.The City of Orange, relying in part on the strategies put forth by the League and our collaborative efforts, has positioned Orange as a microcosm of what is happening nationally and therefore putting NJ municipalities on the map as leaders in the battle of controlling costs and fair reforms as well as making the tough choices that sometimes leave no one happy. The League may not have all the answers, but we are fighting the good fight and are at the national forefront of this recession and budget crisis to find solutions.
