NJ League Announces a “Smart Cities” Pavilion in the Exhibit Hall at the Annual Conference

June 22, 2017

The League is designating a special area in the exhibit hall to highlight exhibitors displaying products and services focused on the creation and advancement of “Smart Cities”.  This area will consist of individual exhibit booths and will have an attached lounge available to facilitate conversations.  Visually the area will be identifiable by different color aisle carpet and signage and will be noted in pre-conference promotions. View the area on the interactive floor plan.

The concept and evolution of “Smart Cities” has increased and the League has created this opportunity to assist exhibitors with introducing these new technologies and concepts to the attendees.  It is important that local officials be aware of these new information and communication technologies in order to improve the quality of their towns, manage their assets and make them more efficient.

The “Smart Cities” pavilion will assist with this initiative and the League’s commitment to educating attendees on new and exciting solutions for their towns.

Examples of “Smart Cities” technologies:

  • Vehicle Fleet Communication & Management
