Mount Arlington Mayor Arthur Ondish, President of the New Jersey League of Municipalities Educational Foundation, welcomed over 70 elected and appointed government professionals in New Brunswick today, for the Foundation’s annual economic summit. Drs. James Hughes and Henry Coleman of Rutgers’ prestigious Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy moderated panel discussions focused on “Month 25 of the Economic Recovery: Where are we and where are we going?” The panels of public and private sector experts included former Governor James J. Florio, Woodbridge Mayor (and former State Treasurer) John McCormac, Treasurer Andrew P. Sidamon-Eristoff, Office of Legislative Services Budget and Finance Officer David Rosen and Division of Local Government Services Director Tom Neff. They were joined by New York Federal Reserve Bank Vice President and Senior Economist Rae Rosen, Robert Kuttner, Moody’s Investor Service’s Managing Director of US, State and Local Ratings, NJ State Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Thomas A. Bracken and Verizon President Dennis Bone, who also serves as Chairman of Choose NJ.
