THIS NECESSARY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR
“COME TAKE A CHANCE - LICENSING”

    Speaker:  Scott Steinman, New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission. 
    The purpose is to educate the attendees on all facets of raffles and bingos.  The objective is to provide all the necessary information to enable the attendees to review all applications successfully.  Discussed is all documentation required for the application process: Registration, Bingo and Raffle Applications, Supporting Documentation, and Reports of Operation
  • Renewal and Transfer of Alcoholic Beverage Licenses and Special Permits
    Speakers:  Diane Weiss, Bureau Head of the Licensing Unit in the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and Joann Frascella, Executive Assistant in charge of the Retail Licensing Unit.             
    This topic will address the practical procedures associated with the renewal and transfer of plenary retail licenses.  The seminar will also focus on corporate structure changes and conflict licenses and the regulations and statutes associated with these licenses.  Further, the speakers will address late filing and inactive procedures pursuant to N.J.S.A. 33:12.18 and N.J.S.A. 12:39.  Discussed will also be special permits issued by the Division.

    The attendees will leave with a broader knowledge and understanding of plenary retail licenses and the state regulations and statutes associated with these licenses and permits.  Topics presented are  License Renewals, Transfers:  Person to Person and Place to Place, Conflict Licenses, Corporate Structure Changes, Extension of Licenses, Special Rulings:  N.J.S.A. 33:12.18 and N.J.S.A. 12:39, and Special Permits:  Ad Interim, Extension of Premises, Catering, and Social Affair
