LINCROFT, N.J. --- From cleaning up debris to rebuilding homes and public infrastructure, the citizens of New Jersey have been hard at work over the past fourteen months recovering from the devastation that was left in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

The road to full recovery from a storm as devastating as Sandy is a long one, and the challenges that remain may seem overwhelming at times.

But the progress that has already been made is proof that, with the help of their fellow citizens, New Jerseyans will succeed in putting the struggles of the storm behind them as they rebuild Stronger, Smarter and Safer.

Since October of 2012, FEMA’s video teams have been recording the efforts of many thousands of residents, business owners, volunteers and elected officials as they have met the challenges that they faced in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

As 2013 comes to a close, why not take a few minutes to review some of the videos that demonstrate the distance New Jersey has traveled toward recovery.

Follow the links to the videos listed below for a look at how far the state has come since the devastating storm of Oct. 29, 2012.
