The League’s newly organized Mayors Committee for a Green Future met on July 9,2008 at the Bloustein School at Rutgers University to develop a number of priority projects all designed to facilitate the greening of our State’s municipalities. Some of the projects include a Green Future Roadmap, development of at Green Seminar Track in conjunction with the League’s Annual Conference in November, and a Green Future Grants Program to be conducted in conjunction with the Wal-Mart Corporation.
