Re: 97th Annual League Conference in Atlantic City - Status.

Dear Mayor,

The City of Atlantic City was directly impacted by this week's storm.

The League is deeply concerned for those people who were caught in the storm and for those responders whose task it is to help the community recover.

Fortunately there was some advanced notice so buildings and systems critical to Atlantic City's hospitality industry had some time to prepare for the storm and review their recovery plans.

Based on our first hand reports from Atlantic City the recovery of the city and hospitality industry are proceeding.  On Monday November 5th , based on recovery progress,  the League will issue a final decision to go forward with the Annual Conference Nov 12-15, 2012.
