Re: Invitation for 2009 New Jersey Statewide Cultural Festival, September 26
Governor Jon S. Corzine and Secretary of State Nina Wells are again hosting the New Jersey Statewide Cultural Festival, to be held this year on Saturday, September 26, from noon to 5 p.m. at beautiful South Riverwalk Park in Trenton. As so many of you know, this free annual event showcasing our state’s incredible ethnic and cultural diversity has become a favorite of thousands of festival goers.
I would encourage you to join the Governor and Secretary of State in celebrating the food, crafts, dance, music, artistry and history of the different groups that define New Jersey’s unique character. As has become a wonderful and much anticipated festival tradition, there will once again be a naturalization ceremony for new American citizens, presided over by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services South Jersey office. A festival flyer that I hope you can make available to your constituents is attached, and more information is on the festival website, www.njculturalfestival.com. For further information, please call the festival hotline at 609-777-0881.
Thank you as always for your tremendous partnership in promoting the richness of our state and our communities and I look forward to seeing you at this year’s festival.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
